Loch & Key was created with the intention of designing a space that felt like a home away from home.

Being the upstairs part of an old Victorian building we model ourself on throwing Melbournes most educated but still deborturous house party.

Loch & Key, A bar run by Bartenders for Bartenders and all of them alike, colleagues, friends and foes.

We don't have a menu, with the intention of making drinks catered to each person individually, keeps us on our toes and keeps the drinking experience interesting.

One of our main aims at Loch & Key is to not conform to the norm:

• Yes we serve cocktails but we're not a cocktail bar.
• We have Whiskey but we're not a whisky bar.
• We have wine but we're not a wine bar

...We just want to be a bar for bars sake.

We serve food right till the minute we close, our toasties are what we'd reach for at that witching hour of the morning. from open till 10pm you can get food from Captain Melville, our big brother downstairs.
